We will watch "Vacation Plantation," a documentary by Alex Bezeau and Lauren Cudmore, that explores the continued misuse of historic plantations for tourist attractions. Many plantation sites today neglect to acknowledge its horrific past, either by completely ignoring it or sensationalizing it.

Jo Banner, co-founder of the Descendants Project, is interviewed in the film and discusses the harm of this exploitation.

This event is FREE. Only 75 reservations are available.

👟 Shoes note: Due to the nature of Woodland's original flooring, please wear flat shoes and tennis shoes. Avoid spikey shoes and stiletto heels.
